Terms of sale
The Archive is run by Sreelekha, an individual creator based in India, under the name "Before It Was Possible". Everything sold here is a digital product (PDF files). No physical goods are shipped.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include any applicable charges.
- Your purchase gives you a personal licence to download, read and print the files for your own and your family's use. Please don't resell or redistribute them publicly.
- The Founding Archivist tier includes a reservation for Volume II. Volume II is written only if 100 reservations are reached within the stated 7-day window, and the terms under Refunds apply.
- I take care to make sure all historical and mathematical content is accurate. If you find an error, please tell me and I'll correct it in the next edition.
Refunds & cancellations
- Digital files: once the files have been delivered, the sale is final, because digital downloads can't be returned. If a file is broken, incomplete or not what was described, email me within 7 days and I'll fix it or refund you in full.
- Volume II reservation: if the 100-reservation goal isn't reached within the window, every Founding Archivist payment is refunded in full within 24 hours of the window closing. On The Complete Archive, the Volume II portion (₹300) is refunded and you keep all the files.
- Wrong or duplicate payment: refunded in full on request.
- Refunds go back to the original UPI account and usually take 1–5 working days to arrive.
Privacy
When you order, I collect your name, email address and UPI transaction reference. I use them only to confirm your payment, deliver your files and contact you about your order (including Volume II, if you reserved it). I don't sell or share your data with anyone. Payments are made directly through your UPI app, so I never see your bank or card details. To have your data deleted, email me.
Delivery
Files are delivered by email as download links, usually within a few hours of payment (9 AM – 10 PM IST) and always within 24 hours. Please check your spam folder. If nothing has arrived after 24 hours, email me with your UTR number.
